Business Development Series: AI for Beginners

This session is part of our Business Development Series, a four-part workshop program supporting businesses across the Wagga LGA. Delivered in collaboration between Wagga Wagga City Council and the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber, this is Workshop One in the series, designed to build practical skills you can apply immediately, with future sessions continuing to support your growth.

Join us on Thursday 7 May for a practical, beginner-friendly workshop designed to help you build confidence using artificial intelligence in your business.

This hands-on session will introduce simple, accessible AI tools that can support your day-to-day operations, from creating content to improving efficiency. You’ll explore how tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot can be used to:

• Generate clear, effective written content using simple prompting techniques
• Create and edit images, including basic infographics
• Develop videos for training, marketing, and communication
• Understand how to identify AI-generated text and images
• Explore basic automation tools for tasks like social media and website SEO

We’ll also include a short discussion on the opportunities and considerations of AI across different industries, along with time for audience questions to ensure you can apply what you learn in a practical way.

Designed for beginners, participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and follow along. Morning tea will be provided.
