Business Development Series: Cyber Security Workshop

This session is part of our Business Development Series, a four-part workshop program supporting businesses across Wagga. These upcoming business workshops are delivered in collaboration between the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA), Wagga Wagga City Council and the Wagga Wagga Business Chamber, bringing practical skills, industry insights and networking opportunities to local businesses.  

The COSBOA Roadshow is embarking on a national tour, offering two specialised programs tailored to the unique needs of small businesses. 

The Cyber Security program will equip small business owners and employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect their organisations from cyber threats. This program will cover essential topics such as:

  • Cybersecurity basics: Understanding the types of cyber threats and vulnerabilities
  • Data protection: Best practices for securing sensitive information
  • Network security: Protecting systems and infrastructure from cyberattacks
  • Incident response: Responding to and managing cybersecurity breaches

By participating in the COSBOA Roadshow, attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Network with other small business owners and industry experts
  • Ask questions and seek advice on specific challenges
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and best practices in industrial relations and cybersecurity
  • Enhance their knowledge and skills, enabling them to make informed decisions and drive business success

The COSBOA Roadshow is an invaluable resource for small businesses looking to stay ahead of the curve and navigate the complexities of today's fast-paced business landscape.

This FREE event is open to both members and non-members.

The workshop will be followed by networking opportunities and light refreshments.
