Our Special Resolution Meeting has been adjourned following the AGM, as we did not reach the required quorum of votes and proxies. We appreciate the engagement of those who participated and look forward to reconvening on the above date.
 
At this meeting, members will vote on a proposed special resolution to update our constitution, so it better aligns with the Model Constitution.
This review ensures our governance framework reflects current best practice.

Key reasons for the update include:
  • The constitution has not been revised since 2018
  • Alignment with the Model Constitution under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (updated June 2024)
  • Incorporating recommendations from Business NSW

Important note about proxies
All proxies submitted prior to the AGM remain valid for the adjourned Special Resolution Meeting. Members who have already appointed a proxy do not need to resubmit one unless they wish to change their nominated proxy.
 
If you’re unable to attend, we encourage you to complete a new Proxy Form (available below) and return it to manager@waggachamber.com.au by 9:00am, Monday 8 December 2025.
